Reading Moisture in a Mold Remediation

In this photo the mold is extremely obvious to the naked eye- but it isn't always obvious. We always do moisture readings because sometimes checking for mold only on the surface can't identify areas of moisture and potential mold growth and spores hidden beneath surfaces in moisture pockets. Bodies of moisture hidden deep behind walls, under floors or within concrete could allow dangerous mold to be formed and to spread in as little as 48 hours, undetectable by the human eye.
